Established in 1908, Worplesdon Golf Club is a quintessential example of Surrey heathland golf. Designed by J.F. Abercromby with greens and bunkers constructed by Willie Park Jr., the course is renowned for its strategic layout and natural beauty. It is part of the esteemed trio known as the "Three Ws," alongside Woking and West Hill Golf Clubs. The front nine features undulating terrain requiring thoughtful shot placement, while the back nine offers relatively even ground but challenges players with fast, subtly contoured greens. In 2021, Lobb & Partners completed a multi-year renovation program, including the reinstallation of heather on bunkers and restoration of the 13th hole's distinctive bunker.
